Custom Dictionaries and Multi-Language Support

Languages Support

By default the paid version of the WebSpellChecker application (SCAYT, Spell Check Dialog, Web API) provides spell checking in 16 languages:

Custom Dictionaries

The WebSpellChecker application supports custom dictionaries at both the individual user and the organizational levels. Now you can be sure that personnel names, brand names, department titles, and other organizational nomenclature are spelled correctly for accurate communication and enhanced productivity.

The Custom dictionaries are offered in an addition to the main dictionaries in both Cloud and Server versions of the WebSpellChecker application for SCAYT, Spell Check Dialog and Web API. You can easily configure your WebSpellChecker application to switch among the custom and main dictionary sets, depending upon the context in which the WebSpellChecker application is invoked.

The Custom dictionary functionality is provided at no additional fee in all paid versions of the WebSpellChecker application.

User Dictionaries provide each user of the WebSpellChecker application the ability to create his own dictionary and use it across multiple sites that utilize WebSpellChecker or SpellCheckAsYouType. The Server version of the WebSpellChecker application provides the ability to automatically create user dictionaries.

Legal

4,700 words. Supplements the American or British English dictionaries. Contains words related to jurisprudence, law, criminology, and law enforcement. Includes separate American and British lists.
